  Nice food. Great coffee. Downstairs area felt a little musty. Although apparently they are going to renovate this area early next year.

  This is a great restaurant and bar. It has recently been sold with Kevin taking over the reins from David. Kevin has many exciting changes in the planning which will build on the excellent reputation LaVida has. I was recently there for a welcome dinner for John Graham MLC. Our party comprised 20 people. We had a set course Tapas Dinner comprising of 2 courses for $35 plus 8 bottles of wine for an extra $200. The food was amazing. Each dish was fresh, well presented and had the very best of flavours. The wines were good choices and with 20 people no one complained. THe staff were great, service was friendly and efficient and all our requests were attended to. All in all a great night in no small part to the excellent company and the great food, wine and service.
