  After I had confronted Andy over the way this business conducts themselves, I recieved a phone call from Ray attempting to apologise. My assessment of the conversation was insincerity, and more concerned about being caught out in a lie.

  Rays Lismore Car Repairs are professional, reliable and also really reasonable. I was quoted + charged $170 for the work I needed done, much less than $300 and $220 I was quoted by other Lismore mechanics. Also, Ray himself was happy to drop me to work and collect me from work when needing to drop off and collect my car during my lunch hour as I work fulltime. I would 100% recommend Lismore Car Repairs and will be back.

  My toyota kluger needed the water pump replaced, and I had been recommended this mechanic by a friend. After Ray had inspected the vehicle, I was quoted approx $2200 because they would need to drop the engine out of the bay as it was inaccessible. This included up to 20 hours labour.

  Have been using these guys for years now, nothing but nice, friendly and efficient. Don't know what that other lady is talking about, Andy and Ray are two of the most stand up guys you'll ever meet in the business. They've saved me heaps with good advice and quick service.

  Luckily, my brother in law works at City Toyota on Ballina Rd, who suggested I have a second opinion. Could not fault their service, the mechanic Bob told me that it was easily accessible from underneath, quoted a total cost of $692 (5 hours total labour, a part needed to be ordered). Also provided me with a courtesy car over night.

  Ray is fantastic. Never over quotes work requirements, always reasonable prices, we've never had any issues. Cannot understand why anyone would have any problems with the service here, it is good and honest. Places like this are gold...
