  I have issues supporting Harvey Norman. Although they employ locals I'm not fond of Gerry Harvey (who whines an awful lot) or many of his practices. Nonetheless beggars can't be choosers and Lismore has limited options. In the computer section I'd recommend Red (I forget his actual name but he has a large red beard and is fairly bouncy and helpful). In TV's Phil is super well informed on all models and options. In furniture you're almost always better off to go anywhere else. Pricing is outrageous and staff are rude and look down their noses at you. Have often found identical furniture for half the price. HN Ballina has better options and friendlier staff, though the same inflated prices.

  Very poor communication. Took an order for a birthday present and didn't notify when they couldn't get. Made no offer to assist in any way.

  I must say that I have always been happy with the quick service and support at this store. Product knowledge is tops; and that is a must when I shop at a store like this. My experience here has always been positive. Great job team.

  Thumbs up for Nigel! After a bad experience with DELL, we explored our computer needs with staff at Harvey Norman Lismore. Were made a great offer but when coming back to pick up and pay for laptop, the staffer who offered the deal was not there as scheduled and present staff advised they could not match the offer. When this happened again a second or third time, Nigel stepped up and made it happen, having seen how we kept getting different messages from different staff. Thanks Nigel for your professional and proactive approach. You still know what customer service means - a seemingly rare trait in today's sales world.
