Chinese made ceramic teapots are way too expensive. I buy lots of teapots at Op shops from Grafton to Brisbane and $5 and under buys what this shops sells for $10. Sadly I left with nothing but would have been happy to spend $10 on 2 teapots but not $20.

This is without a doubt the Biggest and Best Op Shop on The Northern Rivers. The store is run by a Manager and Assistant Manager who have previously had extensive retail experience with a major national retailer and it shows. The layout of this shop could easily have been lifted from David Jones. The store is decorated to an exceptional standard. The clothing is a mixture of "recycled" and new. Unlike most op shops this shop is fresh smelling. It does not have that used clothes smell. Great bargains are to be had. The bric a brac is not as extensive as other op shops in the region but the quality is exceptional. I collect vintage salt and pepper shakers and have bought some exceptional items here. The book section is amazing. The non fiction section is arranged in subject order and the fiction section is arranged in A to Z author order. Books are rotated on a 6 weeks basis. This means each week new books come in. Every Thursday some books are reduced to 3 for $2. The book volunteer is in the shop every Thursday and as well as been highly intelligent he is also very important in Lismore - albeit not as important as he thinks he is!
